Technical Sales Representative (Remote/USA)

Compensation:Negotiable. Base Pay + Commission Pay

Experience:All experience levels with a chemistry background will be considered

Hours:8 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday, No Weekends

Job Description

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong customer base. This role combines technical knowledge with relationship-building and sales execution to support existing customers and identify new business opportunities for Epic Resins’ epoxy and polyurethane materials.

This position will begin with in-depth training on Epic Resins’ company operations, materials, and processes to ensure a strong foundation and long-term success in the technical sales role. The Technical Sales Representative works closely with customers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions and drive sustainable growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical sales or field sales support experience
  • Experience in the epoxy and urethane formulating industry

 

Special Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business through networking, market research, and active sales outreach
  • Manage and grow the assigned customer base while establishing business goals
  • Conduct sales calls, make in-person visits, and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service issues to serve our customers
  • Identify customer application needs and recommend appropriate Epic Resins materials and process improvements
  • Provide technical support by identifying and helping resolve customer challenges
  • Gather and communicate customer requirements to our Lab and internal teams
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, customer records and activity
  • Coordinate customer quotations and work closely with Sales Manager, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure accurate lead times, inventory and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers to ensure alignment on account activity and next steps

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate information clearly
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based tools
  • Honest, reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach
