Epic Announces S7527 Polyurethane for Battery and Energy Storage Protection

New thermally stable polyurethane supports high-temperature battery and energy storage applications.

Palmyra, WI: Epic Resins, an international formulator and manufacturer of specialty epoxy and polyurethane systems, announces the launch of Epic S7527. This material is a two-component, thermally stable polyurethane potting compound engineered to protect sensitive electronics in battery packs, energy storage systems, and high-temperature environments.

As battery and energy systems move toward higher power densities and tighter packaging, potting materials must maintain thermal stability and adhesion under high temperatures. Epic S7527 was engineered to meet these demands while supporting efficient, repeatable manufacturing.
