We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in our Palmyra, WI laboratory. In this position, you assist and maintain quality in our products by performing testing of raw materials and finished products. Maintain recordkeeping associated with testing and sample retention. Uphold all safety requirements while executing the responsibilities of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Test various finished goods by prescribed test methods
  • Verify raw materials indicated on batch ticket
  • Record test results on batch ticket and in computer
  • Consult with developmental lab or QA chemist on “out of spec” product
  • Return approved batch ticket to production department
  • Check raw materials received against Certificate of Analysis
  • Record lot and tag approved raw materials
  • Procure samples of new lots of raw material
  • Test raw material and record results
  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis for customers
  • Calibrate equipment and record results
  • Tag nonconforming product
  • Verify and tag containers
  • Weigh catalysts for production batches
  • Check/verify outgoing shipments for corrections
  • General housekeeping

  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of weights, conversions, and measurements
  • Ability to work independently
