New ToughPleat End Cap Urethane Series

Palmyra, WI: This month Epic Resins, an epoxy resin and polyurethane manufacturing company, announces the launch of a new line of molded filter end cap polyurethanes, ToughPleat Series.
ToughPleat is a series of two-component molded end cap polyurethanes. This solvent-free formula is designed to have excellent tear resistance and high strength for demanding molded filter end cap applications. Being a strong, flexible material, ToughPleat is well-suited for filters that will be subjected to constant pulsing, pressure drops and/or may take some effort to remove or install. The high tear resistance prevents the filter from being damaged during the installation or removal process.
With a convenient by volume mix ratio and low viscosity, the ToughPleat Series is easy to dispense and can be used with many types of metering equipment. The fast gel time ensures a quick turnover of filters, helping to reduce WIP time in many production configurations.
