Epoxy Resin and Polyurethane Filtration Properties

We can adapt any of our epoxy resins or polyurethanes to meet the specifications of your industrial filtration application. Our products feature modifiable properties, including electrical, chemical and heat resistance, and adhesion rates. We add thermosetting polymers to our filtration adhesives to ensure chemically-resistant resin combinations are available. Thermosetting polymers allow our products to maintain adhesive and bonding functionality while exposed to chemicals in a high-temperature setting. Thermoset is set once cured, meaning the chemical reaction has occurred and cannot be altered by outside forces. Our epoxy and polyurethane filtration adhesives remain secure in any circumstances.

Benefits of Chemically Resistant Resins:

  • Helps prevent corrosion of pipes and fittings
  • Helps concrete reinforcing rebar
  • Reduces exposure and flammability, as compared to powder coatings
  • Fast curing time: bonds in as little as 5 minutes, depending on the curing temperature
  • Resistant to thermal shock: -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C)
  • Low water absorption with favorable thermal conductivity
  • Can adhere to metals, glass, wood, stone, and some plastics
  • Works in elevated temperatures
  • Works effectively with coolants, gas, lubricants, and oils
